Annual Summer Meeting
Dear Brothers and Sisters of Phi Beta Mu:
On Friday, July 16, 2010, at noon, we will have our annual luncheon meeting
at the Marriott Hotel in Wichita, Kansas. I would encourage you to come and
welcome our new members. The meeting is held during the annual KBA Convention,
though you may come to the luncheon meeting even if you aren’t attending
the convention this year.
Those of you that nominated this year’s new members need to be prepared
to introduce them prior to their initiation. We have a large group to initiate
this year, so please plan to keep your introductory remarks brief!
We will be presenting the 3rd Annual Phi Beta Mu Future Band Director Scholarship
to Darrian Wannow from Pratt Skyline at this meeting. Please come and meet
her, our new members, and have fellowship with many good friends.
Our luncheon menu will be a deli sandwich plate with potato salad and pickle
slice, including a side salad, dessert, and drink. Bob Lee, our executive-secretary
has been able to keep our meal cost to $17.00. (Thank you so much, Bob!!!)

below or paid at the meeting.
Seeing all my friends and colleagues at KBA and the PBM luncheon is something
I look forward to all year! I hope that all of you will be able to be there
and get that extra boost it takes to prepare for the upcoming year!
